Transformation Tuesday: Keswick Hall

Transformation Tuesday: Keswick Hall

Greetings from The AV Company!

Welcome to our eighth installment in our Transformation Tuesday series! This month, we'd like to take a look at a specific venue that we work with frequently and that has been the setting of several beautiful weddings we've recently helped to produce. Keswick Hall is an impressive 48-room mansion set within a 600 acre property here in Charlottesville. This gorgeous estate, originally built in 1912, is a fantastic venue for events ranging from weddings, corporate gatherings, retreats, et cetera.

Transformation Tuesday: Virginia Film Festival Wrap Party

Transformation Tuesday: Virginia Film Festival Wrap Party

Greetings from The AV Company

Welcome to our seventh installment in our Transformation Tuesday series! This month, we thought we'd share with you our work for the Virginia Film Festival's Late Night Wrap Party! The party was held at the Main Street Arena last month, and our goal with this event was to capture the fresh, energetic spirit that encompassed all of the events surrounding the festival.

December Update: Projection Mapping Panels

December Update: Projection Mapping Panels

Greetings from The AV Company!

This month, we are taking a look at a fun recent project that allowed us to expand our range when it comes to projection mapping! We recently had the pleasure of working with TEDxCharlottesville again, and were tasked with creating a stage set that would be responsive to the speakers' needs and reflective of the topics being discussed.

We created a backdrop using Wafers from Atomic Design - flat fabric panels with a slight warp to lend a sense of undulation and texture to the backdrop as a whole. Using animated content from motion graphics artist Jonah Tobias, we were able to provide a flexible, visually intriguing, responsive set for this year's TEDxCharlottesville speakers!
